BOLIVIA, N.C. – With peak Atlantic hurricane season starting mid-August, Brunswick County Emergency Management is encouraging all residents and community members to stay informed by registering for the [ReadyBrunswick Emergency Notification System](https://www.brunswickcountync.gov/E-Alerts?ref=down-ballot.info).

Brunswick County is in southeastern North Carolina and borders New Hanover County. Wilmington is the New Hanover County seat.
