# Each New Hanover County Schools campus to have an on-site nurse

**Down Ballot Staff Reports** 

During Thursday’s agenda review meeting, the [New Hanover County](https://www.nhcgov.com/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=958&ref=down-ballot.info) Board of Commissioners directed staff to return New Hanover County Schools to a model created during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring every campus has an on-site nurse position. 

The county will begin advertising immediately for additional nurse positions.
